Ethel Agnes Brydges

Born in New Brigdon, Alberta on April 28, 1915, Ethel Bridges, beloved wife of the late George Clinton Brydges, passed away with her family by her side in Okotoks, Alberta on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the age of 96 years. She is survived by her loving son Wayne Ryan (Jennifer) of Millarville, sister Vera Tye of Calgary and lovingly remembered by her grandsons, Michael Ryan (Caroline), John Ryan (Kailey) and Scott Ryan (Krista), as well as great grandchildren Clayton, Ryan, Sierra, Ashley, Alyssa, Donivan, Jaden and Jake, as well as a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Besides her loving husband George, Ethel was predeceased by parents Rodney and Jane Tye, brothers Fred Tye, Ken Tye and sister Irma Robb.

To honor Ethel’s life, a Funeral Service will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403-St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta, on Friday, August 5, 2011at 11:30 AM; with Pastor Gary McKellar officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Interment will follow at Northern Lights Cemetery.
