Frank passed away peacefully at the age of 83 with family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Irene; son, Kirk (Karen); daughter Karen (Bill); son-in-law, Wilton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan), Julie (Jason), Ross, Hayley (Steve), David (Maggie), James (Stephanie), Heather (Chris), and Jeff (Emily); and 11 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his brothers, Gordon (Sue), and Barry (Kris); sister-in-law, Kathy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathy; and brother-in-law, Bob. Frank was a local boy, born and raised in Edmonton, and spent his entire career with Ed Tel. One of his fondest places was the cottage at Wabamun Lake, where many good times were had with family and friends. The family is extremely grateful for the care and compassion shown to Frank at the University Hospital Unit 5D. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., at Hainstock’s Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Kidney Foundation of Edmonton.
