Frankie Allen Ciciarelli

He passed away August 21, 2022 after a long battle with respiratory illness at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Sybil of 48 years, Sons Michael (Trista) & Alan (April). Frank will be forever remembered by his grandchildren, Taliayh, Angelo, Frankie, Giovanni, Vincent, Hayden, Cole and Akeria. His Brother Fred (Gloria), Step sister Kris(Glen), nieces & nephews Jason (Shannon), Graham (Carla), Kelly (Ozay), Kyle and Kalyn will all remember him fondly. He was predeceased by parents Alfred and Glenna as well as step brother David.

Frank was born in Edmonton AB on January 5, 1950. He married Sybil August 31, 1974. Frank started his career at CN in 1972 as a switchman/brakeman then a conductor before retiring in 2006.

Frank’s greatest joy was watching his grandchildren grow & spending time with his family especially at meal time. Being a true Italian his favourite meal was spaghetti. His jokes were plentiful & smiles were many. In the evenings he enjoyed watching a good western and sometimes Paw Patrol with Mr. Giovanni. Frank was very active in his community spending many hours volunteering in many positions on the Wellington Park Community Board over the years.

Frank will be remembered for his endless jokes, and smile and his chuckle. He had a huge heart & loved his family.

A Service of Remembrance to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
