This is very sad news, I have known Gail for about two years. She was a remarkable woman, full of enthusiasm and zest for life. I am saddend of this news, and just cannot find the words. Her giggle, sense of humor and desire to constantly learn will be missed.
Her inner strength and personal growth over the past years is an inspiration, to never be forgotten.
You will me sadly missed, and thank you for being who you are.

It is with much sadness I say goodbye to Gail, a very special person. Her courage and resilience enabled her to face the many challenges she encountered these last years, with dignity. Her positive attitude, cheerfulnesss, optimism and  sense of humour were evident, even during her darkest times. She will be sadly missed. She brought light into each day with her colourful hats and enthusiasm for new experiences.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Gail's passing. In the 14 years I had known Gail, she had shared many of her life experiences. I have been amazed by her optimism, resiliance, determination, and ability to face a problem head-on. She was independent, but not afraid to ask for help. With the assistance of family, loyal friends, professional and friend "helpers", she lived to the best of her ability. Sincere condolences to Peg and Paul.

it was with great sadness we heard of Gail's passing. I taught with Gail at W.D. Cuts School while on a teaching exchange. We have fond memories as she help made us feel very welcome. She introduced us to Bud and Peggy with who we stayed with. Peggy our deepest condolences.

I didn't know Gail very long, about 5 years, but admired her resiliance, her positive attitude and although I suspect she knew her years were numbered she was always positive and cheerful. Bon voyage Gail and deepest sympathy to your Mom and your brother. Norma Neumann

I remember Mme Holliday, junior high French at William D. Cuts School in St. Albert.  So kind, gentle and sophisticated.

She left a lasting impression and I have thought of her many times over the last 30 or so years.  I can still see her walking down the hallway...she will be missed.

Mademoiselle Kary was a great teacher. She was very patient and encouraging. He longer I teach the more my respect for specialist teachers grows. She gave me a strong foundation for becoming a teacher myself.I remember her often, especially when I am teaching spelling to my grade sixes.  She didn't just teach me French she taught me how to learn and stick with something. She will be remembered every time I teach a word with a French root.
