The family of Gareth Jones of St. Albert are saddened to announce his passing in the early morning of December 31st, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Gareth will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Heather, three daughters; Julie (Colin), Marie (Drew), and Penny, three granddaughters; Sarah, Jessica, and Bryanne, and one great-granddaughter, Molly. Gareth is also survived by his sister Anne (John) of Birmingham England, sister-in-law Linda and brother-in-law Terry (Maureen) of Carmarthen Wales, brother-in-law David (Carla) of Sydney Australia, as well as a host of close friends too numerous to name.
A celebration of Gareth's life will be held at St. Albert Seniors Association on Friday, January 12th, 2018 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Albert Seniors Center, St. Albert Victim Services or the St. Albert Food Bank.
