He grew up in Uxbridge, ON but later moved to raise his family in Edmonton, AB. He was an avid golfer and always kept busy doing something around the house. He loved his family with all his heart and adored spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his loving wife Susanne of 45 years, mother Iris, daughter Tanya (Dave), son Jason (Stephanie), grandchildren Bailee and Sadie, brother Dale, sisters Wendy (Tony), Carol, Kim (Anthony), Pat (Mike), Andrea (Larry) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents Chauncey and Winifred, brother Bryon, brother in-law Ron, sister in-law Lany and niece Teegan.
The family will be holding a small service on Saturday April 18th for immediate family and close friends.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that a donation is made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in his name.
