It is with great sadness and regret we announce that Gordon Walter Pringle passed away suddenly at home on January 13, 2022 at the age of 70. Gordon was born in Swan River, Manitoba and raised on the family farm in Minitonas, Manitoba. After finishing grade 11, he went to live in Brandon, Manitoba for a short spell working at Brandon Chrysler Dodge, then decided to move west.
Gordon worked for the City of Edmonton for 36 years. Got his GED during this time and was promoted to foreman. After retiring, his great joy was working in his garden and flower beds. Besides playing guitars, he had many hobbies he loved doing. Cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, diamond painting, playing on the computer, and putting a good puzzle together. Everyone benefited from his hobbies; pictures, afghans, toques, mitts, socks, and his slippers which were a favourite hit with everyone.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by those he leaves to mourn, Debby (nee Robbins), his wife; children, Walter Pringle (Marcie), Corey Pringle (Natasha), Melanie Narrow (Joe), and Tanya Tremblay (Joe); grandchildren, Nathan (Janine), Suvanna, Natashia, Miranda, Dustin, Sabrina, Jaina, Dominic, Willow, and Jaxson; great grandchildren, Brendon, Kayden, Dillon, Emberly, and Adalynne; sisters, Agnes Mizera (Vern), Ethel Moore (Bill), and Mary Warner (Bob), and many nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his father, Walter Charles Pringle in 1986; mother, Dorothy Pringle (nee Magill) in 1991; brothers, Allen “Bud” Pringle in 2015, and Jim Pringle in 2016, Johnny Pringle in 2019.
Gordon requested cremation and no funeral. In lieu of flower, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
