Grant Richard Motuz

It is with great sadness that that his family announce the passing of Grant Motuz

Grant grew up in Calmar and that is where his roots were the deepest. He always stayed in the area and valued the long-term friends he made in his childhood. Throughout his career Grant was able to travel the world, bring home stories and artifacts to share with his family about his travels. No matter where he travelled his favorite place was being home in Canada.

Following his favorite sports teams, was a passion of Grant’s. He was a fan of the Oilers, Stampeders and Steelers but his favorite teams were the ones his great niece, and nephew played on. Grant was a great supporter of the local sports teams in Devon and valued everything sports had given him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Mary Ann, brother John (Marilyn), nieces Gina (Craig) Gauthier and Robin Medaugh, great niece Alexandra Gauthier, great nephew Riley Gauthier, as well as numerous friends.

Grant was predeceased by his parents Metro and Alexandra and his brother David.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 – 34 Avenue Edmonton, AB.
