Ivy is survived by her children Brian (Sandra) Smith and Diane (Gerald) Cummings. Her four grandchildren Charlene Cummings, Corrine (Tim) Kim, Andrea (Lewis) Mehta, Darren (Dominika) Smith and five great grandchildren Hadley, Wyatt, Kyle Myah and Charlie, sister-in-law Mary MacTaggart, sister-in-law Donna MacTaggart sister-in-law Margaret (Doug) Relf, sister-in-law Ruth (Norman) Cummings, and her beloved nieces and nephews. Ivy was predeceased by her husband Joe, parents Percy and Hazel MacTaggart, brothers Allan and Garnet.
Ivy’s happiest times were spent surrounded by family.
Our family would like to send a very special thank you to Dr. Paul Yong for his special care over the years and to the dedicated and loving staff at Capital Care Grandview.
As a result of the current pandemic, there will be a private family burial service for Ivy. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
