Inocencia Benigno Gapas

She was born on December 28th, 1949 to Teresa Aquino and Pedro Benigno. She married Osmino Gapas on September 20, 1972 with whom she had four children: Marjorie (Wayne), Marie Jane (Dante), Marites, and Marlon (Madeline). She was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Jayden, Janelle, Jana, Kathleen, Lorenz, Liam, and Marco.

Merced and Osmino came to Canada in August 2009 as immigrants. She worked at the Allan Gray Continuing Care Center.

She truly lived and loved her life to the fullest by travelling, shopping, and socializing with friends and family. She was known to be very supportive in all aspects, which has caused a great loss to our family, relatives and friends.

Others whose lives Merced Gapas has touched are invited to Hainstock’s Funeral Home and Crematorium located at 9810 34 Avenue NW in Edmonton, Alberta T6E 6L1 on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. to reminisce, grieve and remember her life.
