Jaeden Eva Chaisson was born on November 13, 2006 at the Sturgeon Hospital in St. Albert. After only four months, her father Travis Whitford, was tragically taken from us and only a short 17 years later on July 20th, 2024, another tragedy took our beautiful Jaeden, leaving her family, friends, and community forever changed.
She is also predeceased by her paternal Grandmothers Bobbi-Jayne Stacey and Sharon Crowley, “Poppy” Rodney Stacey, her Great-Grandparents Stella and Wesley Neepin and Charles and Mercedes Chaisson, her Great-Aunts Clara Neepin and Lillian Morris, her Great-Uncles Wesley Neepin, Raymond Neepin, Arthur Neepin, and Mike Chaisson, and her cousins Margo and Joanne Neepin.
She loved being a big sister to her brothers Austin and Liam (Crowley), and was a wonderful daughter to her parents Nicole (Chaisson) and Rob (Crowley). She was a proud granddaughter to grandparents Elvis and Rita Chaisson and Bill and Joanne Crowley, along with other numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jaeden was thoughtful, loving, and strong with a great sense of humor. She loved music and wanted to learn to play the guitar and harmonica. She didn’t hold back her feelings, loved her family and friends unconditionally, and lived her life with a confidence that was unmatched. Her spirit will be felt by many for the rest of our lives.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm MT on Thursday August 1, 2024 at the Canadian Druze Centre, 14303 - 143 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jaeden and Brooklyn’s Gofundme fundraisers.
