John Lindy

1968-2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Lindy on July 19, 2023. John is survived by his partner, Dorothy; daughters, Alyssa, Chanel and Kayla; mother, Eva; brothers, George, Mike and Joe; sister, Eva and his nieces and nephews. John will be deeply missed by his six grandchildren who he cherished, Autumn, Noah, Gemma, Mac, Michael and Johnathan. John is predeceased by his father, Mihaly.

John had a passion for hot rods, old rock music and having a great time. John’s most favourite times would be the holidays when the house would be full of family and his grandchildren. John’s first visit to the ocean was with Dorothy to Newfoundland and ever since then he had fallen in love with Newfoundland and all of its beauty.

John will be remembered by many for his larger than life personality, too tight hugs and his favourite phrase “have a little faith, my love”. We will hear his voice and keep John’s memories in our hearts forever.
