It is with great sadness that the family of John van Essen announces his passing on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Isabel of 47 years, his children, Alida, Martin(Janine), Brian(Bonnie), granddaughters, Ashley, Emily, Anna, Margaret, Grace and Emerson and his brothers, Gerrit(Rosina), Cor(Lenie), Robert(Kathy). John was predeceased by his son Jim.
A Memorial Service will be held at Memories Funeral Home on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Mark Elvin officiating. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made directly to a charity of choice.
