Dearest Yashica and  sisters and extended families, I am deeply sorry to hear of your great loss and I know that no words can offer comfort at this time. Her legacy is: She lives on in the strong intelligent and successful women she created  and raised, and the families you went on to flourish with which blessed her many times over. I shall say prayers from Gold Coast, Australia for her soul as I fondly remember coming to your place in Namaka, Nadi, Fiji as a young girl and meeting her, then us giggling and chatting away as pre-teens do. Please take care my friend, Grief as they say, is just love with nowhere to go, so it wells up and comes as tears that roll down your cheeks; grieve freely and fully and know that she watches you and your family always. please accept my heartfelt condolences for your Mum Josnaben. I am wishing you peace, comfort, courage and lots of love at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you all sisters . I will always cherish the good  times i spent with your mum together in fiji and in australia, Josnaben was very determined and strong lady. She will continue to be in my prayers and wishing you all the best and know that you all have full support from me if you like to talk. From a very young age Josna was a caregiver. Being the oldest child, she helped raise her siblings while our parents ran our family business. Josna was kind and caring. As the baby of the family, she called me her little pet since I followed her everywhere. She would say I was her tail.  She would share candy with me secretly. Being much older, Josna was like a mother to me, nurturing and making me feel safe.
One of my favorite memories of Josna is on my 13th birthday. She surprised me with a birthday cake in the shape of a HEART with pink icing. That was the best cake I’ve ever had.  
Before Covid she would come to visit me in Seattle. She assured me that if I ever needed her help she would always be there. One of our highlights was visiting a local Conservatory. She was mesmerized by all the tropical plants and flowers. We made our times together special. Since Josna loved flowers, she even helped me plant a lilac bush in my yard which is in bloom right now. A beautiful memory of her. We also looked forward to my visits to Edmonton so we could sit and chat for hours like old times.
I honor Josna for her strength, courage, hard work and perseverance in life. I will always cherish our times together.
