Karen Mavis Jackson, born 5 Sept 1961 at St. Walburg, Saskatchewan. She and her brother were the first set of twins their doctor delivered and the second twins to be born in the St. Walburg Hospital. In 1965, the family moved to Edmonton, where Karen started kindergarten. She later graduated from Bonnie Doon Composite. She enjoyed her family and friends and the time she spent with them. The cabin at Loon Lake was a favorite place and crafting of any sort a favorite activity. With a wicked sense of humor, Karen loved to prank. The grammas and Great grammas often referred to her as "Sweet Little Thing" or "Little Pet", little did they know!
Christmas was always very special to her. She loved everything about it... the lights, music, decorations, games, presents, family, food, and leftovers. She had a great memory, an eye for detail, and a kind and thoughtful heart.
Predeceased by an older brother Garth Allan and her dad, Gerald Allan Jackson. Left to mourn is her mother Darlene Fay (Wagner) Jackson; sister Debbie (Don), nieces Leanne (Jason), Lori (Ethan) and great nieces and nephews Emma, Joshua, Maxom, Wally and Lucy; Brother Brent (Terry) and nephews Peter (Tiffany), Cooper (Kayla) and great niece and nephew Hawk and Stella; and her twin brother Kerry.
Karen has been cremated and will be interred in the Municipal Cemetery in St. Walburg.
