Linda your smile and quiet demeanor were always such a gift to all of us who had the chance to interact with you. I remember when I was a student and I needed to come get my RSA key from you; it was so easy to find your workstation because it was the brightest, greenest cubicle in the room. You had a way of making everyone feel welcome and important no matter how many times you helped us with the same problem (4 times for me). Rest easy now.

My condolences to your family who have lost such a special person. 

I have known Linda and had the pleasure to work with her for many years at ECCC. Linda will always be fondly remembered as a dear colleague and one who helped so many and was always there to lend a hand. She always had a smile for you when you came to ask for help and she was truly appreciated by all. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Arnold, Cynthia, and the many family and friends. She will truly be missed. 

Luke and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Linda's passing.  I worked with her at Environment Canada for many years.  She was always the first person to jump in if anyone from our team needed assistance.

She will be sorely missed.

We got to know Linda almost 40 years ago when my brother, Frank, moved to Edmonton and briefly lived with her family. She was kindhearted, generous, and welcoming. Through the ensuing years Linda has been a regular part of family gatherings. She will be missed!

Linda and I worked together in the IT section at Environment Canada.  She was such a warm caring person, always ready to help anyone.    I was thankful I was able to see her  in September and finally at the hospital.  My condolences to Cyndi, the rest of her family, and to Luke.  She often spoke well about all of you.

I often had short conversations with Linda in the lunchroom as my night shift was ending and she was prepping the coffee machine for the day. She will be missed here.

One of the things I loved about Linda was her smile. Every morning when I came into work and passed Linda in the hallway, she would always smile, say a quiet hello and I would respond in the same manner. It was always a great way to start the day. She will be greatly missed here at EC.

My deepest sympathies to Linda's family.  I've worked with Linda for so many years.  She was a kind and caring person who always went out of her way to help.  She will be missed terribly here.

My condolences to Linda's family and friends.  I worked with Linda for many years at EC. She was the most kind and understanding person  and always willing to help you out. I'm sorry she didnt have a chance to retire and enjoy a slower lifestyle with her beau Luke. 

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing.  I have worked with Linda since transferring to the Edmonton office in 2011, and she helped me on so many occasions.  Linda's quiet and capable way was underpinned by the kindness and patience she brought to all the trouble-shooting she did for us.  We also shared a love of jigsaw puzzles, and I appreciated her help locating a puzzle board for home.  Linda will be missed tremendously, and I would like to extend sincere condolences to her family and friends and colleagues.
