

On the morning of December 17th 2022, Linda Jane Reddick of Edmonton AB passed away peacefully surrounded by her children. Linda was born in Glace Bay NS to Jim Reddick and Josephine Cormier. Linda, known as Lou to her family and close friends, was a talented seamstress with a good sense of humour and a love of old country music.
Linda is predeceased by her father Jim Reddick and mother Josephine Cormier, sisters Sheila “Row”, Winifred “Winnie”, Donna “Dolly”, brothers Glen “Rusty”, Michael “Mickey”, John “Koko”, James “Jimi”, and beloved friend Mary “Duckie” MacLean. She is survived by her son Dave, daughter Joline, bonus son Scott, and grandchildren Felicia, Tanisha, Tyrese, and Tianna (whom Linda referred to as Gertie). She is also survived by sisters Mary, Jackie, Doreen, Shelby, and Barbara, brothers Sackie (Gladys), Frank, Billie (Tammy), Ricky (Betty), and Michael (Crystal), best friend Brenda Lawrence, and several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of Linda’s life will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on December 29th 2022 in Fort Saskatchewan AB, followed by an internment memorial service on a later date in the summer of 2023 at Forest Haven cemetery in Sydney NS. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
