Maja was a devoted wife, mother, and loving grandmother.
She loved spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren, sharing stories, playing games and watching their favorite movies. She had a passion for gardening and loved her flowers.
Maja is survived by her loving husband, Tony of 50 years; her daughters: Kerri and Courtney; her grandchildren: Marco, Jordan and Jayden; her mother, Wanda; siblings: Glen, Carla, Jody (Scott), Derek (Aron); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Beau Simonet; father, Preben Christensen; mother-in-law, Annie Simonet; and brother-in-law, John Simonet.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A private Funeral Service will be held for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
