Remembered with great fondness. Fay and Ken last visited in the 90’s, we had some great walks and talks. She was such a good hugger and her laughter warmed everyone close enough to hear.  Dad and Mom (Clare and Beth) went west a few times for weddings and trips and always came back with great stories of wonderful visits.  She will always be remembered for her huge heart.

So sorry for your loss, I have great memories of family visits and my trip out to Abottsford with Grandad

Dear Uncle Ken & Family,

I send my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of dearest Aunt Fay.  I will always remember with much fondness the time that she took care of my brother and I for a short time.  We were only 3 and 4 years old.  She was so kind and patient with us as we were very shy.  She let us stand behind a big cook stove until we felt comfortable to come out after my father dropped us off each morning on his way to work. 
 Mom and I sure enjoyed our visit to Alberta back in 2014.  Aunt Fay, Ken and family made us feel so welcome.

The Rowell’ s were given the sad news this morning of the passing of Aunt Fay. I (Karen) remember your visit to the farm ( the late Short Gerald Rowell) where we sat at the picnic table and listened to stories of what had been going on and how I had grown since the last time. I felt the love from you both like we had never been apart and have often thought of you out there. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Uncle Ken and Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Fay's passing this morning. It was always a 'big event' when Aunt Fay and Uncle Ken came to visit us in Ontario. Aunt Fay would swoop in...Mom's 'younger sister', vibrant, full of laughter and TIGHT HUGS,..I vividly remember those times. We would write to each other every Christmas and let each other know what had happened in the previous year and how our families were doing. It seemed like she was always doing something for someone else!!! A truly lovely person. 
Our Mom (Aunt Mae) passed away last October. The world has lost and heaven has gained two incredible Mothers. We as kids are so fortunate to have been raised by these wonderful sisters. When I'm having a sad day, I remember that. 
“A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memory.”
Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you remember Aunt Fay.
