Lynne, Paul and John,
It was with sadness and regret that I read your Mom's obituary in today's paper.  The sadness is of course, about the loss of another life, and empathy with your grief on the loss of your Mom.  The regret is mine.  Every year, when I received her Christmas card I would be determined to visit in the coming year.  And yet another year would go by and I would fail to make it happen.  My loss.  I always liked your Mom - as my Grade 5 teacher (!) and as a family friend.  Of course, there are good memories from when we all lived in Jasper.  And in later years of great dinners here with my Dad, your Mom and Mrs. Warren.  My thoughts are with you.  Dee MacPherson
