Michele Pileggi

May 4, 1929 – December 1, 2010.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michele Pileggi on December 1, 2010 after a lengthy battle with heart Disease. Mike is survived by his loving family: His children Teresa (Stan) Pucci, Joe (Janice) Pilieci, Rose (Kevin) Schimpf; and his grandchildren Susie (Ahmet) Yasa, Paola (Ernesto) Moreno, Elena (Manuel) Mira, Cathy (Walter) Salmeron, Micaela (Michael) Streeter, Robyn Clements, Ryan (Jennifer) Messier, Melissa Messier, Hayley Schimpf, his great-grandchildren; Leyla, Jayda, Cecilia Yasa, Enrique, Mercedes, Alisia Moreno, Emerson Streeter, Daniel, Angelina, Carolina Mira, Diego and Joshua Salmeron. He is also survived by his brothers Lugi (Angela) Pilieci, Bruno (Teresa) Pileggi and his sister Amelia (Antonio) Mandaliti and numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his wife, Caterina; sister Maria; and his brothers; Giovanni, Rocco, Frank and Antonio Pilieci.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service held at St. Dominic Savio Parish 14406 62 Street, Edmonton, AB on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dominic Savio Parish 14406 62 Street, Edmonton, AB on Wednesday December 8, 2010 at 10:30 AM, with Father Joseph Vadassery Celebrant.

Entombment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery following the service.
