Neil was the son of Ethel and Richard Erlandson and was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He was a journeyman Carpenter and worked for K-Rite Construction for 30 years, retiring in 2018. He treasured spending time at his happy place “the lake”, captaining his pontoon boat; enjoying towing the kids around or just out for a pleasure cruise. He loved sports - playing them, coaching them and watching them. In retirement, he very much enjoyed travelling and playing golf. He was a devoted grandfather, father, uncle, brother, son, and friend. Neil was very outgoing, making everyone welcome and to feel like a part of his family or inner circle. There may be no other way of putting it, but saying, “he was one of the good guys.”
A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail Edmonton, AB on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00 am. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
