Denise, Guy, Joe and Mark, so sorry to hear about Norm's passing. 2020 has been such hard year on many levels. But I have to smile as well thinking back on the period of my life, and Denis' as well, that we spent with you folks in Barrhead. A lot of formative things happened while I was working at your Dad's shop. He was a smart man with a great sense of humour. His favourite trick to pull on newbies in the shop was to get them to hold a piece of something that he was welding and then he would zap them with the rod! I got mine! And he would laugh and laugh! I also think of all the time we spent at your place rehearsing with our rock/wedding band, Sneak. He supplied the band bus and booked our gigs. He was the consummate businessman! And the restaurant! Denise you were the best! People would come from miles around to have lunch there. I have a ton of great memories because of Norm. God's Speed Sir!

Denise and Family, our deepest condolences with the passing of Norman, so sad he was such a caring and genuine person.  Even though our paths didn't cross often, we cherished those moments. My most sincere condolences to you and your family hearing about the passing of Norm . I have so many great memories of Norm starting with spending time at the Lake at Lac La Nonne , the Service and Bodyshop days out in Barrhead , and running into Norm at car shows in the city where we would always end up walking around together and talking . I will forever remember Norm's laugh and how he would keep you on your toes trying to pull one over on you , and if he did he would always laugh so hard. He was also the kindest person that has helped me out when I needed help and he wouldn't ask for anything in return . The Pelletier Family has been a huge part of our family growing up and those memories will never be forgotten , especially those of Norm , I'm so sad for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time,

Dear Denis;
I'm was very sorry to hear of Norm's stroke and eventual passing.  He was a kind and giving person.  

I have fond memories of Norm helping me with my very first car, and how he generously refused to take payment for any of the parts he provided during repairs.  He also managed to come up with a new car for me when mine got totaled.  It meant the world to me.

Mom and Dad also thought the world of Norm. They especially appreciated his visits to their respective care homes, where they were regularly entertained by his band. 

I have fond memories of many, many good years of playing music to together with Norm. He will be missed by all his fellow musicians.  My heart felt condolences to Denise and the family.

Dear Denise,
I was so sorry to read of Norm’s passing in the Journal.  Please accept condolences from our family. 58 years together. What a testament to both of you.  I have  very few memories of Norm other than our social functions from EHSL.  He was always quiet and smiling.  It was hard to get a word in with that many women chatting at the same time. 
I think of you when I remember EHSL. I have seen Marie occasionally and we chuckle about your calming effect on all of us. Marla is still working with Michelle, my daughter. Marla was always so grateful for you and continues to speak about you with incredible respect and caring.  
Covid has made life so difficult for all but especially for those grieving loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.    Stay safe.   Sharon Bouchard 

So very sorry for your loss. Normand was a very kind man. I remember him from your cottage at Lac La Nonne. My parents had a cabin two doors from yours. He was always kind to them. They were Harold and Mary Jinks .
