I was deeply saddened to learn of Ms. Malho's passing. I had the privilege of being her student at Glengarry School from 2006 to 2013, along with my sister and twin brother.  Ms. Malho was truly one of the kindest people our family has ever known.  Although I only recently heard the news, my family and I are heartbroken. We will always cherish the memories of her gentle smile, her unwavering kindness, and the genuine love she showed for all her students, especially the warmth and care she extended to me and my siblings.  She made a lasting impact on our lives, and we will never forget her. Allah Yerhamik ❤️

   You have touched so many people and impacted many lives.  You thought of everyone’s needs before yours.  You showed your love thru your helping hands, your thoughtful gestures, your sweet words, your welcoming embrace and your delicious meals.  You were an elegant woman who carried herself with such poise, with a great attitude even when it was difficult for you.

 I looked up to you in many ways, and you helped shape me into the woman I am today. You included me into your daily life; During my first few days here in Edmonton you invited me to your classroom and field trips.  I was able to see you as a career woman, seeing so many children happily wave and say hello to you. You can see how much the students liked  Mrs. Malho.   

I always knew I can count on you for anything that I needed, ANYTHING! You were my second mother and my mom here in Edmonton.  We talked about everything from fashion, cooking, design,  what we will be wearing to  our next event , and what  will be the next theme to the next part etc.

  It breaks my heart that my kids, your grandchildren,  will be missing out on the best grandmother.  You had endless energy even when you were sick.

 You loved everything about being a grandmother; you loved taking many pictures (thank you for that), your play dates that included: baking, sleep overs, story time, making their favourite meals  and of course dressing  and buying ALL of their outfits.  It felt nice to have you by my side.   When I had my two children, you supported  and trusted me with my decisions as a mother.  It’s important to have a strong woman by your side during these milestones.  You were the Godmother to both Alanna and Joe, and now you are their angel in heaven sitting with your father.  I promise I will tell Alanna and Joe all about you and continue to have your memory shine thru them.  Thank you aunt for everything you did for me and for my family.

I wish you had the opportunity to stay on this earth longer..  It is unfortunate, due to the current pandemic that so many people were unable to physically say goodbye to you.    I wish you could have  seen  all the outpouring of  love from your family and friends through the many texts, messages, flowers and love.  You deserved way more than having this sickness take you.  It may have taken you physically, but mentally and emotionally it did not!  Your true strength went beyond this disease. You were a fighter who never gave up hope.  You went beyond the medical field and was open to the naturalistic approach.  When presented information by yours sons, you took their advice, never hesitant, with a willing and open heart.  You were determined to fight this disease and you did it in the best possible way.  You are now resting in peace with no pain.  God knew you needed rest.

I feel blessed to have had the privilege of meeting you, Randa.  You had a way of creating an amazing vibe in the school and especially the staff room each day.   You touched a lot of hearts over your 30 years educating our children.  

I meant it whole-heartedly each time I'd tell you that you looked great because you knew exactly how to put it together.  You lit up the room each time you would drape over you some of the coolest modern and vintage styles of garments.  I always felt a sense of comfort around you and I'm going to miss you dearly.

In time of sorrow it is hard to find the right words to express the pain you feel. It was a pleasure knowing and working with Randa for 25 years. I feel fortunate to have got the chance to meet, learn and grow along the wonderful woman she was. I will miss her dearly but our found memories together will never be lost nor forgotten.

I’m deeply saddened by the news of your loss 

Randa was not only a wonderful colleague, but also a special friend and phenomenal educator for many generations.

Ever since my eldest daughter started Kindergarten 20 years ago, Randa was the first person that made me feel welcome  to the Glengarry  community . When I started my substitute teaching job,  she would always greet me with her beautiful smile and check on how did my day went. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts.  We love her and we will always remember her inspiring words of wisdom and encouragement.

I have struggled with what to write about our dear Mrs. Malho. She was ever patient, ever kind. She was a calm and steady hand in a classroom full of energetic students. She had a gift for telling a story, turning any group into attentive and enthusiastic listeners with just a few words. Without her help and her guidance I would not have made it through the past few years as a teacher. 

She dedicated her life to her students and her family. She will be missed dearly and deeply in the hearts of all who knew her. 

A dear friend and exceptional human being. She left behind a wonderful family, friends, and students who will cherish every moment they spent with her. Randa was a kind, talented, generous, elegant and a hard working person. She was always there for me when I needed her. I will never forget when I was hospitalized and my children were far away, she and Joseph visited me several times and took me home afterwards. They were my family. I can't believe she is gone.  She will be in my thoughts always. My  deepest condolences to her family.

I went to Canada and I had the honor of meeting Randa, a woman with a great heart. During my stay in Canada, she gave me her unconditional support. I spent pleasant moments with her, her family and friends. I am grateful for the love she gave me. They say if God loves a person he will make every one that knows that person to love her. Your solace is that Randa was loved not just by her family but by every one who knew her, worked with her, dealt with her and definitely by God. Her loss is not your loss only but it is her friends, colleagues and community’s loss. Randa, was without a doubt my second mom. When I think of Randa, I feel love, warmth, kindness and selflessness. When I got sick in the hospital, she rushed with flowers. When it was my birthday, she never forgot. Always remembered me. And she does that. She thinks of others because that’s who Randa was. When you see Randa, she welcomes you with a warm smile, a kind hug, and a genuine heart. 

Randa, I will never forget you and your loving kindness. Thank you for always showing me love. You were such a beautiful person from the inside out and I love you very much. 

While I can’t find a picture with Randa, this is a picture of me with the flowers she got me when I got out of the hospital to show the kindness she had to everyone around her. Memory eternal.

Memories go back to first few days after we landed in Edmonton so many years ago .we met with a dearest family who become my family in a home away from home .
