Randy was known to be a simple, kind-hearted, and caring person. He was soft-spoken, keen observant and expert in making people feel extra special. He was popular to his neighbours as helpful, who shovelled other's side-walks and whose driveway was always free of snow. He was a fixer upper, obsessed with doing things right as per 'manufacturer's guidelines.' His incredible work ethic and his ways of helping anyone in need will be remembered forever.
His friends loved to see his big smile when he called for "Operation Pike!" That was his code for fishing, his favourite hobby, aside from biking. His specialty was everyone's favourite "Bulalo" and "Pansit." He was passionate in music, with an impressive gift in playing guitar. His favourite segue from camping trips was going to music festivals. No one can deny that Edmonton Oilers was his favourite hockey team because of his worn out Oilers cap. His favourite player was McDavid!
Randy's life made an impact to the hearts of everyone he encountered. He brought inspiration and care to everything he did, with his music, his smile, his unconditional love. He was a man of few words, and even in his quiet ways, he made people feel they are seen, important, and cared for in many ways that words cannot even justify. His faith to God was unwavering, and indeed, he fought the good fight of faith against the rare cancer. He professed his faith multiple times, that God will extend his life, without a doubt. God granted his prayer, as he is now living the life of eternity with God Almighty.
Randy loved, and was loved by his family. He was the youngest of five siblings, with four brothers and a sister. Preceding his passing away were his parents and his three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Revy.
Randy's positive outlook, generosity, and kindness were his trademarks. He will be deeply missed by all who are blessed to know him, his extended family and friends, nephews and nieces, neighbours and co-workers.
