Our prayers will be with you & your family Christmas Eve at our little white church on top of the hill.  16:00 pm (Atlantic time).  Church bells will be ringing in Rod`s memory. Be strong.  Remember the great times, Loriann and these memories will keep you going and help your healing heart.

Rod you were such a great man, I'm happy to had the chance to know you. We had some laughs in our time together, for example you having fun bugging me about wearing my toque in the summer even though I told you I wasn't sweating you wouldn't believe me because of my bright red face. I was saddened to hear of this tragic loss. I worked with Rod at G4S and always remembered him as very polite. He will be missed by all his colleagues.

Rod, from what I knew of you, you were such a sweet guy and you made my mom so happy. I'm lucky to have talked with you the few times that I did. Even though you were my step dad, you made me feel like one of your own. I wish I could've spent some time with you and became closer with you. You will always be in my heart.

It was Oct 2012 my sister Loriann moved to Fort McMurray to live with me and my family.  Her youngest child was gone to university and she felt lost and it was time to try to make a new beginning. Little did she know she would find the love of her life.  From the first time I met you I could see a sparkle that i had not ever seen before in my sisters eyes.  My heart is full of sadness for my sister and the family your time with all of them has been cut short. Always remembered and never forgetten.
