With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ron (73) after a lengthy illness. He will be lovingly remembered by Jacqueline his wife of 52 years; his sons, Keith (Jacqui) and Doug; siblings, Raymond and Joyce; and their families.
He was born in Alpine, MB, the eldest child of Mauver and Bertha Gustafson, who predeceased him. After completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter, Ron spent 7 years in Thompson, MB, before moving to Edmonton in 1974. He had two great loves in his life; his work, which took him across Canada, and his family, who shared his passion.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 – 34th Ave. Edmonton. He will be laid to rest December 6th in Alpine, MB alongside his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends who forever remained close in his heart.
