We are saddened to announce the passing of our wonderful dad, Ron on the morning of March 6, 2024. Ron was 85 years old and went home to be with his beloved wife of 51 years, Joyce, who predeceased him in March of 2021. He is survived by his children Shelly (Dan), Chalene (Gerald) and Kent (Tammy) as well as his beautiful grandchildren Gerri, Cassidy, Ethan, Colton, Keaton, Wyatt and his younger brother Gordie.
Ron loved to work in his garage on various wood working projects and hitting the casino with his friends. He had a very difficult year with health issues and fought very hard to stay here with his family. He loved his family and friends very much and he will be missed dearly.
A memorial luncheon to honour Ron’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail Edmonton, AB on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron’s memory may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada or to the Edmonton Humane Society.
