• It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Roopdai (Maureen) Hemraj, of Edmonton, AB and formerly of Georgetown, Guyana who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 59 years. Her battle with cancer in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Maureen came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Rooplall (Ron) Beepat and daughter, Priyanka Beepat.
• A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, on February 3rd, at Hainstocks Funeral Home & Crematorium 9810- 34 Ave NW Edmonton Alberta, followed by the cremation which will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
• In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society on cancer.ca
