We are so very sad for your loss. We will never forget the first time we met Sam. It was at your Edson homestead when Larry & Terry celebrated their thirtieth birthdays. That was quite a weekend. Our memory of Sam was when we were playing "anti-i-over" over one of the cabins. He kept everyone in stitches every minute of the day. At some point I asked him to stop because my sides were splitting. We liked him at first sight and somehow knew you would be the greatest couple - you looked like you belonged together. We hope your hearts will heal and we know you must have some incredibly good memories. His passing was a shock and it was also very pre-mature.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Doug & Elsie McLeod

To the Magee Family;
On behalf of the Edmonton FireFighters Memorial Society, Please accept our deepest condolences on Sam's passing.
Sam was well respected on the Fire Department for his leadership and how he cared for the people that he worked with.
I only worked with Sam a few time, but he had a great outlook on life and was fun to be with. We're all going to miss his wonderful smile and sick sense of humour.
Please mark Wed. 2013 Sept 11th on your calendar, as that will be the day of our Annual Remembrance Ceremony.
It will be the day that we remember all those members that we have lost in the past year.
It is also a very special ceremony as we have the family members of those members involved in the event itself.
It gives us all a chance to say goodbye and it helps with the closure as well.
If I could have a family member to contact me at 780-451-8343 or at then I can get back to them at the end of July to send out invitations.
In closing, please accept our deepest condolences on your loss and know that Sam will be missed by many.

Dear Pat and family,

Although I did not see Sam often, because we attended high school together, it seems as though we have had a long friendship. He was a great guy and I really enjoyed visiting and laughing with him whenever we did get together.
Please accept our deepest sympathies.
Sincerely, Ken and Sheila Busch

When Sam phoned I'd say "Now Sam Magee was from Tennesee, Where the cotton blooms and blows.."
and we would share a laugh..

God Bless,
