On Saturday, July 23, 2016, Sophia Anne Kobusiak of Edmonton and Spruce Grove passed away at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Teresa Koss and the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Katherine (Joe) Zagorski, Michael (Nicole) Filipski, and great-grandchildren, Emmi, Logan, Penelope, and Ruby. She also leaves her sister, Mary Spring and her brother Edward Zrodlo, both in California, and nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, her niece, Julie Slosky, and her sister, Josephine Slosky.
A private memorial service will be held with inurnment at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB T6V 1H4.
