Sylvia Costain

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sylvia Costain, announce the passing of their beloved Mom, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Auntie and Friend on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 6:02 p.m. in the Leduc Community Hospital.

Sylvia was known for her love of music, pets, sewing and most of all, family.

She is mourned by her loving sons, David (Bunny) Monk and Ronald (Jackie) Monk of B.C.; her grandchildren, Andrea (John) Robinson of B.C., Jarrod (Alanna) L'Hirondelle, Cole L'Hirondelle, Edward (Andie) Monk of B.C. and Eleena Monk; her great grandchildren, Macie L'Hirondelle, Mia L'Hirondelle and Connor Blanchard; as well as her precious niece, Maureen (Peter) Jones and their family.

Sylvia was predeceased by her loving girls, Sherry Monk and Debbie L'Hirondelle; her parents, Nellie and Alfred Costain; and siblings, Alma and Ron.

She was looking forward to the coming of her new great grandbaby, Archer Monk of Ed and Andie Monk.

A Memorial Service for Sylvia will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 6L1. Following the Service, the family invites you to join them in a time of fellowship and refreshment in the Upstairs Reception Lounge.
