Mr. Thomas "Tom" Lorenzo Daynes

On Sunday April 20th, 2025 Thomas Lorenzo Daynes passed away peacefully at the Edmonton Covenant Care Centre after his brief but courageous battle with Cancer. Tom leaves behind his stepchildren Steve & Bev Hawes and their children Graham (Bethanie) & Courtney (Phil), Jan & Nick Zarycki of Rivercourse, Alberta and their children Dani (Forrest) and Haley (Brett) and one great granddaughter Kensie, 14 Nieces and Nephews in Ireland, Spain and Australia. Tom was predeceased by his Loving wife Kay, Parents Charles & Rosanna Daynes along with brothers Billy, John & Charles, sisters May, Edie (sister Dymphna) Alice, Ogie and Kit.

A prayer service for Thomas will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 5:00 PM.

A mass of christian burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's Catholic Church, 6310 118 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.

Memorial donations in Tom's memory may be made directly to the St. Vincent de Paul charity, St. Clare's Parish, Edmonton, AB or to the charity of one's choice.
