He was the loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Martha Marie Ghostkeeper; 3 children, Marla (Allen) Ghostkeeper, Shannon (Chris) Ladouceur, Desiree (Conrad) Ghostkeeper; 13 Grandchildren, Wesley, Ashton (Clayton), Ryan(Sam), Jayden (Ashley), Cole (Ashley), Avery, Vincent, Alex, Ava, Austin, Nature, Christopher, Lydia; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Sasha, Cristiana, Andrew; mother in law, Gladys Wilson; 6 brothers, Norman, Ralph (Mary), Donald, Elmer, John (Joanne), Marty (Debbie); 8 sisters, Margaret, Mary, Yvonne, Linda, Joanne (Joe), Brenda (Len), Debbie (Doug), Jamie (Neil), Dawn Richarde; numerous other family and many dear friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Adolphus & Elsie; brothers & sisters, Sully (Ruby), Dolly, Annie (Pete), Simone, Hazel, Myrtle (Bill), Joseph, Ken.
Tom enjoyed playing fastball, slow pitch, hockey, broom hockey, curling, and college football as well as enjoyed acting as a referee in many of these sports, his grandchildren grew to love these sports as well and in return have played many.
Tom was President of the Metis Nation of Alberta, Association Local 1904 – Council St. Albert – Sturgeon County, Elder with Elders Wisdom Circle, was also a volunteer firefighter with High Prairie, High Level and Athabasca Fire Departments.
