My condolences to the Woodrow family, lyle and i were friends when we were little. I remember playing all kinds of sports with lyle (football, hockey, you name it we played it)summer or winter, he was always eager to play and always had a smile on his face.

to my brother you will always be in my heart i will remember all the good times we had togeather thanks for being a great big brother love and miss you always

Uncle Lyle, you were the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. You had the biggest heart out of anybody and would try to help anybody with whatever they asked, even if you didn't know what you were doing ; you always tried! you always did stuff for others and almost never for yourself. I remember when I was younger I would always go on field trips but my mom could never be a parent volunteer because she had work so you would shave and get all dressed up and come for me becaus I always wanted someone to come really bad. You were they only one who knew all my favorite music by heart and would always buy me CDs for presents when I was younger because you knew I was such a tomboy and hated getting clothes back then and you were the only one. I'm really going to miss your cooking too! Love you uncle Lyle and I know you're still here.

I love you and miss you but i know you're okay you'll be in my heart. I got what i wanted a furby from you it is in my heart and I will always miss you I know your not here but you are still my uncle I really miss you. Your my uncle and i really love you,and i know your not in pain any more I love you Alexys <3 xoxoxox .

My deepest sympathy goes out to Lyle's family, he will be missed dearly.  Lyle was my dearest and closes friend and I will miss him with all my heart.  Since the very first day that I met Lyle I knew he was a very special person, he was kind and giving and genuinely sincere, he was always there for me and my daughter.  They say that God puts Angels on this earth and I truly believe he was our Angel.  God has called him back, but he will always live in our heart & memory forever.

hey lyle , my friend we had a lot of good lauphs and will never forget the xmas you came to stay with us here in goose bay. you will be missed greatly , but now you are pain free and able to watch over us all . it's too bad events had to happen where we were unable to get married as soon as we had hoped , you will not be there to give away your daughter to me but don't worry i will always be here to take care of her.

I don't know what to say. How do you say goodbye to a father. I miss you just doesn't seem to do it justice. I think about you everyday. I hear your voice in my head saying "hi sweetie", you were the only person who called me that. I hope you are watching over me now and someday I will see you again. You left us too soon. I love you.

So many memories from when we were young; the laughs, tears, adventures.  As we got older you braved a blizzard to visit us, while on shore leave.  Later, during Navy careers, we tried to catch up with each other in various ports.  Lyle, you will be missed and are loved by many.  Smooth seas and fair winds to my loving cousin on your next big adventure.

Rest In Peace Uncle Lyle, We will always love and miss you. You will always be in our hearts. I couldn't see you in pain at the hospital, but once you let go I knew you were finally at peace. Your an angel, your My Angel <3 You meant a lot to me and I will never ever forget how loving and caring you were. You had your flaws and I have mine. But all of us could see through them and into your heart and ours. I love you Uncle Lyle.

I miss you more and more each day that passes. You were my Uncle, and a great one at that.. I'll never forget about you, Although you are no longer physically here with us, you'll always be right by my side. I Love You so much.
