Wai Yung Wong, age 76, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband: Yau Chuen Chan, beloved daughters: Liza (Andriy) and Jess (Erwin Chiu), grandchildren: Ethan and Jaden, as well as her eldest brother, and sisters-in law, many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and friends in Hong Kong, China, Canada, USA and the UK. She was predeceased by her parents and older brother, Siu Chi. Her extraordinary spirit will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love we continue to spread in her honor. May she rest in the embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In keeping with her wishes, a small private service will be held, and inurnment will be at the Rosehill cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Edmonton Alliance Church or a charity of your own choice.
