On Friday, November 18, 2011 Walter Hansen of Hollow Lake, passed away at the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital, at the age of 89 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jens and Kristine, sisters Hjordis and Jenny, and brothers, Trygve, Harry and Alf. He leaves to mourn his loss nephews and nieces and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Newbrook Community Centre with Reverend Phyllis Greenslade officiating. Inurnment to follow at Sprucefield Community Cemetery. Cremation Entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta NWT/Division 200, 325 Manning Rd NE Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 would be greatly appreciated.
