It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wilma Baker, of Smoky Lake, AB, on the 28th of April, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Lionel (1978); parents Clarence (1995) and Betty (1999).
She will be greatly missed by her sons Ian (Shelley), and Paul (April); grandchildren Cody, and Brandon; life partner Ron; step-children John, Mike (Veronica), and Janelle (Bernie); step grandchildren Robyn, Garret, Tayla and Kieran; sisters Helen (Peter), Jean and brother Jim (Isabel) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma loved to play Bingo, cards and board games with friends. She was actively involved with the Community Senior’s Club in Smoky Lake where they loved her infectious smile, laugh, sense of humor and of course, her many, many baked goodies.
She will forever be in our hearts.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
