Bruce is survived by his spouse, Debra Lynn Franklin; daughter Jennifer Franklin & Kevin Meyers Jr. of Santee, California; and daughter Kimberly Diaz & Alex of Santee, California; father Ronald Butcher & Louise of Santee, California; brother Mark Butcher & Lynne of El Cajon, California, brother Daryn Butcher of Santee, California, brother Bryan Butcher of Carlsbad, California, brother Ryan Butcher & Karen of Carlsbad, California, brother Peter Novotny & Stephanie of San Diego, California, sister Michelle Novotny of Lakeside, California, sister Rhonda Gearhart & Dan of Imperial Beach, California, brother Ron Butcher & Debbie and sister Emily Groce & Bill of Temecula, California; granddaughter Faith Meyers, grandson Kevin Meyers III, grandson Brennan Diaz and grandson Eathan Diaz.

Bruce was preceded in death by; mother Diane Butcher.
