Oh, how I miss my dear friend. She was an outstanding leader and a true friend.  We had wonderful times together.  She will always 
be very special to me.  

So sorry to hear about my cousin, Donna Jean.  I too live many miles from Donna Jean and in the past few years thanks to Facebook, have been able to reconnect with her.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  Carol Froemming McIntyre (cousin), Caldwell, Idaho.

We will miss Donna Jean greatly, my thoughts and prayers are with you. As I reflect back on all the years and good times we had together it deepens my sadness to know that we will not see her or hear her voice again. Death leaves a heartache no one can heel, but love leaves a memory no one can steel. Just know that Donna Jean is in God's care now and what better care could we ask for?

I first met Donna Jean in Portland, Oregon when she came to Raelene's house for their mother's funeral. As the next door neighbor of Raelene's, I began to know Donna Jean. I eventually moved to San Marcos, CA in 2005.  Whenever Raelene and Paul came to visit Donna Jean in El Cajon I was invited to come spend time with them. In later years Raelene would come alone and I would spend the weekend. Those two girls loved to play cards, and I of course learned many new games. However, I never won because Donna Jean and Raelene were "professional" card sharks !!  Sometimes the two of them would come to San Marcos and we would spend the time together just traveling the area to favorite "shopping" spots. Sometimes we would play scrabble. That experience proved that these two women were truly experienced. I admired Donna Jean for her knowledge of politics. Whenever I didn't understand an issue I would call her for information. I will miss Donna Jean's contagious laugh, and bright smile. She was a gracious hostess, and made the best quiche I have eaten. I send blessings to  Donna Jean's sister Raelene, daughter Linda, and son Ron.  Keep your memories close in your hearts, and always celebrate her life. RIP Donna Jean
