I will always keep my grandfather in my memory for I am Dillon Humerickhouse his first grand son  will always know his title as mayor ed of harbison canyon and the memories i had with him such as siting on his wall with him and my brother and my father. I always enjoyed doing stuff like shining his boots and watching tv with him. the silent moments with him were the moments that meant the most to me.  and going out with the family to breakfast.

My mom Karen loved Ed tremendously! Their years together up in the cabin were some of her favorite. She passed away this morning, 12/24/20 , and I wanted to let Ed know. The last time we talked was last Dec. 16th(2019). He let me know he was sick and to take care of my mom. His phone was shut off so I googled him and found he had passed in Aug. I’m so sorry for your families lost. Im comforted to think that he greeted my mom with a giant hug and a cup of coffee on the other side. Love you Ed!!

Worked with Big Ed on the same crew for many years.  You knew he always had your back. He was a fireman's fireman. Will miss you Ed and "feeding the chickens"  when getting back into the station after those early morning wakeup calls.   I hear there is endless coffee in heaven.... Jon W
