Frank Hastings Jr.

Loving husband and father passed away peacefully on Sat 8/7 at his home in El Cajon where he lived for approx 72 years. Frank was 1 of 5 sons of Frank Sr and Gertrude Hastings. - Survived by his only living brother Joel, his son Harold Hastings and daughter PeggySimpson-7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He worked for the same company as manager for approx 35 plus years, Winn Supply Company. Frank and his wife Lila Mae (deceased) led an active life fishing and camping in their younger years and replaced fishing with growing roses. He cared for as many as 300 rose bushes in his lovely back yard. He and Lila were involved in the East County Rose Society for a number of years where Frank served as president for a couple of terms, he was a judge of rose shows as well. He and Lila won many trophies for their splendid arrangements. Frank and Lila were active members of their church First Presbyterian Church for decades. The last few years due to health issues he was well taken care of at home by his caregivers from Home Instead and faithful loving neighbors.

He will be missed but we know he is in Heaven with the Lord and reunited with his wife Lila Mae.
