Born September 7, 1931 and passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 12, 2020.
He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended college and later joined the United
States Air Force where he was awarded many awards for his service. Garry made friends easily
and excelled in management positions in the car sales industry. Garry met the love of his life
while serving on the Foresters board and later married Georgette. They were happily married for
44 years before she passed in 2013. Garry enjoyed bowling and was part of a league and spent
many hours at Parkway Bowl. He also enjoyed Saturday morning donuts, coffee and the
purchase of lottery tickets. Although he never won ‘the big one” his family sure did simply by
having him in their lives. He was loved and will be missed, but at last reunited with his beautiful
wife.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgette Davidov; Mother, Clara Zeikel; Father, Samuel
Davidov; and sisters. He is survived by daughter, Clair; step daughters, Dorothy and her
husband Jim; and Paula. He had 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
