George Estevanez Platero, age 83 passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. George was born April 23, 1937 in the Philippines.

George is survived by wife Herminia Platero; daughter Athena Platero; son Areszeus Platero; daughter Susannah Platero; son Israel Platero and daughter Melissa Platero; grandson Samuel Jones, grandson Maurice Jones, granddaughter Mi'chaele Harrington and great granddaughter Angelene Platero.

A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122.
