Gerald Maynard Deutscher was born October 29, 1928 in Ellis Kansas. Gerald passed away May 27, 2019 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his sons: Gary Deutscher of Lakeside, CA & Timothy Deutscher of El Cajon, CA. Gerld is also survived by a brother: Leroy Deutscher of Murietta, California and a sister, Donna Whaley of Lakewood, CA.
“Jerry will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. In his lifetime, Jerry served as a member of the United States Air Force and worked as an Engineer for Caltrans and the City of Santa Fe Springs. He and his wife Claudia Willene retired in 1989, and moved to their beloved home in El Cajon, CA, where they lived out the remainder of their days. Jerry made a profound impact on every life he touched. He lived a blessed life surrounded by his loving family and will always be remembered as a kind, strong and gentle soul that is already sorely missed.”
