Ghazi is survived by daughter Natalia Makou; daughter Nariman Makou; son Rafi Makou; daughter Noor Makou; and son Fadi Makou; sister Sabria Latros Shoka, sister fryal Patros Shoka and sister Sanaa Patros Shoka.

A funeral service for Ghazi will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at St . Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon,, CA 92019. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102.
