Harold was raised in Lake Wilson, MN and graduated from Lake Wilson High School. When Harold was 22 he agreed to deliver a car out to San Diego, CA., where he met Thora Joane Grimes. Harold stayed in San Diego for 40 years until they divorced and then moved back to Lake Wilson, MN where he resided for the last 15 years.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Hade and Minne Hook. He is survived by sons, Emory, David, Kevin, Brian and daughter, Susan McCarrell. Harold also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and brother, John Hook.
