My mother, Irene Seirmarco, was the last of 7 brothers and 3 stepbrothers.
She had many interests, including sewing, photography, watercolors, nutrition, and she read many self-help books.
Irene is survived by her three daughters, Roseanne, Elizabeth, and Christine, and one son, Donald.
Our mom spent time with her son, Donald, playing cards and Scrabble later on in her life.
Elizabeth took her mom to Julian for lunch, which included a horse and buggy ride around town and the backroads of Julian. That was a special day that Liz spent together with her mom.
One sunny day, Roseanne and Todd had a wonderful ocean view lunch in Delmar with Irene. She enjoyed her fish and chips and we had fantastic time.
Mom and Rose spent many hours solving jigsaw puzzles. Of course,my mother’s favorite puzzle and most difficult was a map of the world.
This last year with her momma, Christine had a very special time with her. She was able to be there for her and provide simple comfort. We both enjoyed this time together. Chris will never forget how her mother’s face would light up with joy when she visited her. My momma is at peace with my Dad. That makes her happy.
She was a devoted grandmother to her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was a devoted wife to our father, Joseph, and took care of him for many years before his death.
We love you mom and will miss you.
A graveside service for Irene will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Singing Hills Memorial Park, 2800 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, CA 92019.
