

Born in the Czech Republic, Jarmila Hes, immigrated to Omaha, Nebraska, at the end of World War II. She married Santo (Tony) D’Agosta and moved to San Diego. She learned English, went to school, and graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She worked at Edgemoor Hospital until retirement. After this, Jarmila and her husband worked together in their home business.
Her husband died on November 5, 1993.They shared the same love of family, and after his passing, she continued in the same regard.
She was an amazing cook. She had an amazing green thumb and could make any cutting grow. She loved gardening. She liked traveling and nearly traveled the world.
Survivors include her two sons, Tony and Charlie. Her grandchildren are Gabriel, Paul, Mary, Angela, and Jimmy. She has a growing number of great and great-great-grandchildren.
A Visitation and Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 19th at 10:00 am at El Cajon Mortuary & Cremation Service, 684 S. Mollison Ave. El Cajon , CA 92020
The Committal Service will take place on Friday, February, 20, 2026 at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102
