Joan S. Ang

Joan was born on October 5th, 1942, in Rochester, New York to Richard and Ruth Edic.

Joan was the youngest of three daughters, including Joyce (Hester) and Jacqualyn (Marx). They lived in Hilton New York until the family traveled west to El Cajon, CA. She grew up in their family home on Washington Street.

During Joans high school days she met and married George Carrell and were married for 22 years. They had two daughters Kimberly Carrell and Kelly (Omahen). She was a devoted and dedicated mother and after raising her two daughters she went back to school and received her associate degree for office informed systems and medical transcription specialist. She created and ran a successful medical billing company “Ang Medical” until retiring.

Joan met the love of her life Alfred Ang and married in April of 1990. Al sadly passed away in 2006.

Joan was blessed with six amazing grandchildren, Johhny, Samantha, Amanda, Nicole, Trevor, and Rylee and six beautiful great grandchildren, Seth, Tanner, Nicolas, Russell, Kody and Remie Jo.

Joan led by example, she was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. She loved her family so very much and always would go out if her way to make us all feel so special and loved.

Joan will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Our hearts are broken, but we know she is at peace and out of pain.
